Dennis M. Lox, MDDr. Dennis Lox, an avid multi-sport athlete, graduated from the University of Arizona Phi Beta Kappa in 1982. He attended the Texas Tech University School of Medicine and obtained his Medical Degree in 1986. Dr. Lox then completed his residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
In 1990, Dr. Dennis Lox founded the Florida Spine and Sports Medicine Center in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. There, he has cared for thousands of patients, supported by his passion to relieve acute and chronic pain utilizing a sports medicine approach.
Dr. Lox has edited two medical textbooks: Soft Tissue Injuries: Diagnosis and Treatment and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - State of the Art Review: Low Back Pain. He has authored eight textbook chapters and lectured extensively around the country on various, related topics.
Dr. Dennis Lox continues to practice state-of-the-art sports medicine, pain management and regenerative medicine. He firmly believes that the past method in medical care was to manage the natural degeneration of the body.
